I have constantly made the wrong choices in life,
Time and time again
And today will be no exception

As there is an amazing amount of great music available right now, I'm going to discuss some art that occurred a few months ago.
The Ryoji Ikeda gig at SOFT CENTRE at the white bay power station.
As it's been too long since I gave my trash skunk view on art.
I have enjoyed Ryoji Ikeda, especially when he takes you to the sun and then right back to something even stranger, like the human DNA sequence, all the while keeping it grounded with nothing but clicks and sine waves
Seeing him live, I got a taster of that, a spoonful of classic Ryoji Ikeda,
However, the sound has evolved, transitioning into what I would call Apex skim, a skim milk alternative.
It's glitchy, but not in the traditional sense of a sine wave we are all used to; it's more circuit-bent
I don't like it, I'm sure lots of people do, I saw some wooks in the background go nuts to it
I'm sure it's because I don't like change, but I have heard this kind of thing so much that I've kind of come to like Ryoji Ikeda as a beacon of something else.
Anyway , listen to both , make your own descion and keep me out of it ,
I've got more trash to eat from
